AndroidTapp.com Android Game Review:
Pros & Cons:
Pros
- Excellent physics and super-smooth Air Hockey game play
- Cool neon-retro theme
Cons
- Missing features that the iPhone version has
Features:
Glow Hockey brings a cool neon-retro look and feel to Air Hockey. The game features several difficulty levels for some insane fast-paced action. Plus change paddle controls, puck colors, particle effects, sound and vibration.
Gripe alerts: I feel shafted as the Android version is missing many of the perks of the iOS version.
Such as support for 2 players on same device, local Wi-Fi or Bluetooth competition with friends, table themes other than neon, and Open Feint enabled. I guess I cannot gripe too much as this is the free version and iOS costs $1.99.
I personally didn’t enjoy playing on Nexus S due to how sensitive the menu buttons are (totally not the responsibility of the game but the phone). To explain, you typically block in the bottom center and I found myself accidentally hitting Menu button (which invokes the keyboard) or Search button (which leaves the game to search Google).

Fun Factor & Addictive:
Glow Hockey is extremely fun and addictive. Try the Insane level to see what we’re talking about!
Graphics:
The neon-retro 2D graphics theme and super smooth game play makes this game stand out from all Air Hockey games for Android!
Accelerometer, Vibration & Sound:
Glow Hockey has cool sound effects and vibration which can be toggled.
